On This Day In:

2000: Early season storm brought several inches of snow to the central and southern Sierra. Some amounts included 10" at Lodgepole, 8" at Mount Tom, 5" at Huntington Lake and 4" at Tuolumne Meadows. In the Valley, over an inch of rain fell in some areas, including Fresno, resulting in the closure of the Fresno Fair for the first time since 1922. The rain caused numerous flooding problems in Fresno and ceilings to collapse in buildings in Tulare.

Yesterday: As Much Cooler Air Entered California The High Temps Dropped Yesterday As Much As Eleven Degrees In Mariposa Where The Thermometer Topped Out At 73 Degrees And Yosemite, Reaching 70 Degrees, From Wednesday's High Temps While Merced Was Down Ten Degrees Coming In At 77 Degrees For The Day, All With Bright Sunshine Overhead.

Merced Enjoyed A High Temp Of 77 Degrees.
Mariposa Had A High Temp Of 73 Degrees.
Yosemite National Park Had A High Temp Of 70 Degrees.
White Wolf Had A High Temp Of 55 Degrees.


57-67 Today: Much Cooler By 14+ Degrees With Possible Breezy Conditions In Some Locations. Could Be A Few Clouds In The Area During The Afternoon/Evening Hours.

Saturday: Sunny With A Few Clouds, The High Temps Should Be Inline With Friday's Highs.

Long Term:
Sunday: Mostly Sunny And Warmer By Two To Three Degrees With High Temps In The 59-69 Degree Range.
Monday: Warmer By 6+ Degrees.
Tuesday: High Temps Rise Again 8+ Degrees To The
73-83 Degree Range.
Wednesday/Thursday: Another Warm-up Of A Few Degrees Topping Out At 79-89 Degrees.
