Everyone who votes should read the Conyers Report for it outlines in crystal-clear detail exactly what happens when Republicans gain power in Washington. 

Not everyone realizes that under Bush and his Republican Congress, we faced a constitutional crisis never before faced by Americans and aside from effectually canceling out the fourth amendment he was not too far away from making himself and his cadre of right-wing crazies the supreme rulers of the land with the ability to remain in power indefinitely. 

It is fortunate that by some timely and lucky twists of fate this did not happen, but it does illustrate what happens when you let right-wing Republicans into the arenas of power in Washington.

Of course, we should remember that Bush and company in the first place cheated their way into Washington and so a long list of deceptions, lies and outright criminal actions should not come as a surprise to us.

People should carefully read this report before the next election and realize why it is essential to keep Republicans out of power.
