Just how natural are the “natural” cotton T-shirts hanging in our closets?
And what will happen to those T-shirts and the other 82 pounds of textiles (on average) Americans discard each year?

Renee Sedoo of Groveland, a designer of upcycled clothing, will answer these and other questions about the fashion industry
and its impact on society and the environment during a free workshop at the Mariposa Library on Saturday, February 25th at 10 a.m. ...

Also at 10 a.m. in the children’s room, kids of all ages can make a sock puppet from a discarded sock they bring from home
(adult size, clean, holes are OK)  or one provided from the library and then put on a puppet show for their parents and friends.
