This year’s main Relay event will be held on

at the Oak Creek softball field from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m

Join the Yosemite Area Audubon Society for a field trip to Foresta in Yosemite on Saturday, May 20, led by Yosemite Conservancy
resident naturalist Pete Devine.  Trip participants will meet at 7:45 a.m. at the conservancy offices in El Portal to carpool. 
Bring binoculars, field guides, water, lunch and snacks, and wear layered clothing and comfortable walking shoes. 
The conservancy will provide park entrance fee waivers...

The Mother Lode Jewish Community (MLJC) is holding two linked events in May… a “spring clean-up” of the Sonora Hebrew
Cemetery followed by a BBQ at a home in Jamestown.  Then in June the group’s Annual Meeting and Pool Party will take place in Murphys.


Both the cemetery clean-up and BBQ take place on Sunday, May 21st, 2017.  Folks are welcome to attend one or both...

Bass Lake Antique and Classic Wooden Boat Show

Friday & Saturday, May 19 & 20
9:00 a.m. 4::30 p.m.
27th Antique & Classic Boat Show sponsored by the Bass Lake Lions Club will be held Saturday, May 20 at the Pines Marina. 
 43 of the finest preserved and restored watercraft will be featured.
 The event will also feature classic cars from the Fresno Pontiac Club, parked at the marina.
 
 Admission is $5 per person and will include a boat show program. Children under 10 years old are free.
 The event is sponsored by Bass Lake Lions Club and Tom and Tammy Tuso of Bass Lake Boat Rentals.
 
 All proceeds from the event will return to the community through the Lions Club,
including cash awards to Yosemite High School graduates.

 Those who turn in old eyeglasses, cell phones, hearing aids, or a small bag of aluminum can
pull-tabs will also receive two free raffle tickets for the 4 p.m. raffle drawing.

With a camera by his side, Tony Krizan, a local adventurer, author and photographer has been hiking and recording the
“hidden locations snuggled within remote canyons and valleys” of the Sierra Mountains for 34 years. Some of these locations
are great Sierra gold and silver mines that he will present in photos at an Oakhurst Library Workshop
from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon on
