SST LTRMay 24, 2018 - I’m voting for Regina Bateson for Congress because:

Bateson listens. She is serious about listening to the concerns of our communities and tackling the problems we face. If elected to Congress, she has committed to holding 10 town halls a year, and has already held 4 since April 29th.

Bateson will take our issues to Washington. Having worked in the Foreign Service and then dedicating her life to researching the effects of conflict and violence on societies both at home and abroad, she understands how to address real-world problems with pragmatic solutions.  Her grasp of complex issues and her ideas about how to reach across the aisle and make progress in Washington are unmatched by any other candidate running to represent CD-4.

Bateson understands our District. A daughter of our community, she grew up in Roseville and attended local public schools. Her mom is a nurse and her dad is retired from HP, and they help with childcare for her three kids. She understands the needs of parents, children, retirees, and the regular folks she will represent; people who just want the best life for their families and their communities.

Bateson is not beholden to PACs or special interests. She is the only candidate running who has not taken PAC money, and her donations from inside the district far outstrip the other Democrats. Once in office, she will not be influenced by anyone except we the people, her constituents in CD-4.
