For the last three and a half years, District 5 has had one of the most conscientious, thoughtful, and skillful relationship builders in the County representing it on the Board of Supervisors.  John Carrier’s quiet professionalism and depth of experience have added significantly to the effectiveness of the Board, and his ability to consider the broader context of individual issues has been invaluable.  Although I have not always agreed with his positions, I respect his integrity.  Mariposa County faces some vital decisions about building its future and retaining the unique elements of Mariposa that provide the quality of life we value.  John Carrier has studied the issues and has proven himself an effective leader. He has vital skills we need now more than ever.
