February 1, 2018 - The Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Club invites artists to submit artwork that could be used for promotional materials associated with the 2018 Art & Wine Festival. The selected art will be utilized to promote the event on postcards, posters, brochures and in social media.
The 14th Annual Art & Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, May 26th on the Mariposa County Courthouse grounds. The event is a popular annual gathering sponsored by the Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Club featuring regional wines and local artists. Applications for booth space at the event are available on-line at MariposaRotary.org or through the Mariposa County Arts Council.
The artist must be able to provide the artwork in a digital format for publishing in a portrait orientation. You may submit any artwork that focuses on the themes of art, wine, Mariposa history, local scenery, flora, fauna or the Mariposa community.
In order to enter the competition, provide 5x7 (or greater) photo of the proposed artwork, which can be submitted via email to: jaymacdonald05@gmail.com or via mail to: Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Club, P.O. Box 334, Mariposa, CA 95338. The Rotary Art & Wine Committee will make the final artist selection. The selected artist will be given a complimentary booth space at the Courthouse for the event and will be credited in our promotional materials.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, March 15th
