Miniatures in Mariposa

February 20, 2018 - The Sierra Artists’ Gallery and Northern California Society of Miniature Art are sponsoring this premier event Monday, March 5th - Sunday, March 25th in Mariposa. It is designated the “The Elizabeth Specht Memorial Miniature Show” in honor of her long association and dedication in bringing this art form to our community. The Gallery continues this tradition of welcoming artists from across the United States and beyond for a truly unique international exhibit.

One of the charms is using a magnifying glass in viewing these miniature masterpieces that can not exceed 25 square inches. This is a unique experience for the artisan and enjoyed by the viewer.

In addition, the Gallery has openings for membership as a Miniature Artist. If you are an artist that would like an opportunity to show and sell your art, contact the chairperson, Anne Mahle, at (559) 683-6889 or call the Gallery, (209) 966-2284 for complete information. Additional information about this cooperative Sierra Artists’ Gallery events and Membership opportunities can be found at SierraArtistsGallery.com website.

Come visit the Gallery on the corner of Hwy. 140 and 6th Street. The gallery is open: Thursday-Monday, 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
