NFR-logoTANF Eligibility Case Manager:

Three (3) openings.  Full time, non-exempt employee.

Responsible, under limited general supervision, for:  (1). Determining an assigned client’s initial and continuing eligibility for categorical assistance and program services through interactive interviewing and fact gathering; (2).  Assessing each eligible, assigned client’s specific needs for social services; and (3).  Developing prescriptive Responsibility and Service Plans to assist the client in becoming self-sufficient and independent.  This may be through direct intervention, counseling, referrals or support services that enhance academic achievement, provide job training, improve basic life skills, or lead to personal growth and development.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare, Sociology, Humanics, Psychology, Business Administration, Public Administration with two years prior experience in directly related eligibility and/or case management positions.  Appropriate work experience and related course work may be considered towards qualification without a Bachelor’s degree on a case-by-case basis.

Salary: $43,823 - $62,920 (DOE).

TANF Program Assistant:

Three (3) openings, full time or part-time, non-exempt employee. 

Serves as front-desk receptionist as well as provides general clerical support for the staff and TANF client services. 

High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years successful administrative/customer service related experience. 

Salary $28,553 to $41,530 full-time or $13.73 to $19.97 per hour part-time (DOE).

TANF Maintenance Worker I:

Full Time, non-exempt employee:  The TANF Maintenance Worker I is responsible for performing general maintenance, custodial & grounds keeping functions for the North Fork Rancheria Tribal TANF Offices. 

Requires applicants with a high school diploma, GED or equivalency certificate and 1 to 2 years successful experience in custodial, maintenance or other related employment.

Salary:  $23,310 - $33,068 (DOE).

Important Note:  Work experience requirements for the TANF Program Assistant and Maintenance Worker I positions may be waived on a case-by-case basis for applicants agreeing to complete a work training program with the North Fork Rancheria at a reduced salary while in training.  NFR Shadow Training Program graduates may also qualify for this waiver.
