NFR-logoConstruction Foreman:

Full-Time, Non-Exempt Employee.

The Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing residential construction projects as assigned. The Construction Foreman shall oversee the construction of new residential units, rehabilitation of existing homes and the infrastructure to service those facilities. The Construction Foreman will be responsible for implementing construction schedules and maintaining set schedules. The Construction Foreman shall direct and work with the construction crew. The Construction Foreman shall call for the proper inspections and testing of building components at the proper times during construction. The Construction Foreman shall maintain a safe work place and shall insure all construction crew employees follow safe work practices. The Construction Foreman shall be a Working Foreman, and shall also assume the same duties required of a Construction Carpenter.

Applicants must have a strong background in residential ground up construction. Knowledge of basic and advanced framing techniques is desired as well as a basic understanding of light plumbing, light electrical, appliance repairs, demolition, remodeling, drywall work, rental unit turnovers, grounds keeping, preventative maintenance, and other various construction and maintenance tasks.

Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent, at least 10 years of construction experience, and at least two years of experience as a Construction Foreman or equivalent.

Salary:  $47,923 - $62,297 (DOE).
