Rudy MirelezThere will be a benefit BBQ dinner held on Saturday, October 24th to help support Mariposa County Deputy Rudy Mirelez and his family. Deputy Mirelez is the officer shot in the line of duty in Mariposa earlier this month on October 1, 2015. He is a 10 year veteran of the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Mirelez is still listed in critical condition in a Modesto hospital where he will undergo many more surgeries on his road to recovery.

Come on out to the Mariposa County Fairgrounds and show your support for a local deputy who put his life on the line to help serve and protect this community. Along with dinner and dessert there will be a silent auction and live music. The doors will open at 5 p.m. and dinner begins at 6 p.m. The BBQ dinner donations are $20 a plate for adults and $10 a plate for children. There will also be to go orders available.
