Mariposa's own Yosemite Music Festival will soon be here!
This will be the 15th year that the Carter Ranch has put on this fun event. This year's festival will be held at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds located at 5007 Fairgrounds Rd. in the town of Mariposa, two miles south of the town of Mariposa on Hwy 49 on Friday, July 8 & Saturday, July 9, 2016.
The line-up of bands for this year's festival will be a mix of regional bands, from as far as San Francisco and Los Angeles, plus the best of the local bands. Check out the website for the event at: YosemiteMusicFestival.com.
Yosemite Musical Festival is put on by a non-profit organization and has a long history of creating memories in the hills of Mariposa. The event was originally the Carter Ranch Festival and for 12 years was held on a ranch in Carter Valley. A fire is 2013 convinced the operators to move the festival to the safety and security of the Mariposa County Fairgrounds and the name was changed to avoid confusion.
So bring your blankets, chairs and whatever else you need and join us for a fun time on the grassy lawn in the shade at the Yosemite Music Festival!
