Don’t miss the ‘Hoe-Down for the Hospital’, John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation’s summer fundraiser.  The Hoe-Down will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016, from 5:00-9:00 p.m., at the Van Ness Ranch at 5260 Carleton Road, Mariposa.   Join other hospital supporters for an evening of good food, music, dancing and fun.

Dinner is a western BBQ featuring tri-tip and chicken, beans, salads and dessert.  Mark Carpenter, everybody’s favorite DJ will provide just the right music to make it fun.  UPS Sue will lead a few line dances.  Anybody is welcome to join-in.

Supervisor Kevin Cann will conduct the live auction.  Both the live and silent auction have terrific items to bid on.  One of the live auction items is a two-night stay at the Majestic Yosemite and tickets for two to the Bracebridge dinner.  Patrons can donate toward the purchase of a Pyris (medication dispensing machine), and toward the purchase of a new mammography machine.

So polish up your cowboy boots and join us at the ‘Hoe-Down for the Hospital’.  It is advised that guests wear enclosed shoes, as the barn at the Van Ness Ranch has a wood chip floor.

Tickets are $30 each and are available now at the John C. Fremont Hospital admitting office, 5189 Hospital Road, at Casto Oaks Fine Wine & Art Gallery, 4022 Highway 140, and at the Pioneer Pharmacy in Pioneer Market.  Tickets will also be available at the door.

For additional information call Lorna Coci at 209-966-3631, ext. 173.  To donate items for the live or silent auction call Karen Smith at 209-966-6406.
