The community preparations are underway for the fun filled 30th Annual Hornitos Flea Market, to be held in 'Historic Hornitos', on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Gates open to the public at 7:00 A.M. (NO DOGS ALLOWED in the SALE AREA, per County Ordinance). Spaces are available for information call: 209-376-2320.
Enjoy a leisurely drive through our beautiful fall colored foothills, visit the local establishments, and experience the rich history and atmosphere of the historic town. While you are treasure hunting for that unbelievable find or something you always had to have at our 30th Annual Hornitos Flea Market.
Sponsored by the Hornitos Patrons Club, members are responsible for numerous projects and activities in Hornitos, Mariposa County & surrounding area. Monies are donated to the American Cancer Society, 2 Mariposa High School Scholarships, Mariposa High School Student Loan, Mariposa High School Grad Night, Back to School party including all supplies for local children, Manna House, pay telephone in town, stove & fan in Stag Hall, weed abatement of the cemetery and jail including new roof for St. Catherine's church, and the preservation of history in the town of Hornitos with maps, plaques.
The Hornitos Patrons Club also hosts the All Souls Day Candle Lighting ceremony on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 and the
68th Annual Enchilada Dinner on Saturday, March 4, 2017.
