The Sierra Artists’ Gallery of Mariposa is proud to announce the 20th annual Gold Rush Art Show and Sale. The show will be held October 17th through October 30th, 2016. Located in the heart of historic downtown Mariposa, the Gallery is the oldest and only cooperative fine art gallery in the county, established in 1969.
This is a juried art exhibit open to all Sierra and Central Valley artists. Cash awards will be given in four subject areas: Earthscape, People and Portraits, Animals, and Still Life. In addition are two media categories in any subject: 3 Dimensional and Photography. Also highly anticipated will be the recognition for Best of Show and a favorite participation by the visitors’ selection of People’s Choice. The Artist awards and reception will be on Sunday, October 30th, at the gallery from 1-3 p.m.
Application, fee and submitted works can be brought to the gallery on October 13-15 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
