SPCA birds Join the Mariposa SPCA on Wednesday, March 15th and find out what you can do to fight climate change and help endangered species. Hear about the latest technology used to track wildlife and help keep it wild. Dr. Ken Jones is the founder and CEO of A-Team for Wildlife. He presents a lively, audience-engaging talk using his trained parrots and cockatoos, as well as up-to-date drones and robots to explain wildlife management, climate change, and conservation techniques.

Dr Ken JonesThe SPCA of Mariposa County presents a program for young and old alike. All ages can become advocates for nature and the future of our planet. After a short general meeting with election of board members for the year, Dr. Jones and his parrots will entertain and enlighten us with his passion to preserve wild species on the brink of extinction.

The program will be held at the New Masonic Hall at 5154 Jones Street in Mariposa on Wednesday, March 15th, 2017. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. Light snacks and beverages will be served.
