30th Annual Mariposa Storytelling Festival 
Grand Finale Celebration

This year’s Annual Mariposa Storytelling Festival will feature many talented artists. The Sierra Sun Times will feature each storyteller leading up to the festival.

Making his fourth appearance at the Mariposa County Arts Council’s Storytelling Festival, this gifted storyteller just had to be part of Producer/Director, Marilyn Rudzik’s line-up for the 30th Mariposa Storytelling Festival’s Grand Finale Celebration, on March 10 - 12, 2017.  Come join David and our five other master storytellers for an unforgettable Finale Party of captivating stories, music, laughter, and wonderful warm and relaxing fun, as we put this Gem of a Festival to Bed. 

2017 Storytelling Festival adNow finishing a two-week storytelling tour in China, David, an award-winning storyteller, author and actor, has performed on the main stage at the nation’s and world’s top storytelling festivals and captivating thousands of children in classrooms around the nation. A former Master Storyteller for the Disney Institute, David’s love of storytelling in inescapable.

Events take place at Mariposa County High School on Friday, March 10th and Saturday, March 11th, Sunday’s Pancake Bruch and Grand Finale Stories will be at the Mariposa Senior Center at 5246 Spriggs Lane in Mariposa.  Tickets for the Mariposa Storytelling Festival may be purchased online at MariposaArtsCouncil.org, or contact the Mariposa County Arts Council at (209) 966-3155, or (800) 903-9936, for more information.  

The MARIPOSA COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL, INC. is an incorporated not-for-profit organization, created to promote and support all forms of the cultural arts, for all ages, throughout Mariposa County and is funding in part by Mariposa County, the California Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
