April 24, 2018 - As each supervisorial election approaches, I study the candidates, and one of my top considerations is stewardship of our vulnerable water resources. Heather Bernikoff is the clear choice on that score. She has a wealth of education and practical experience in the areas of community planning, community healthcare, protection of ag land, local education and economic development suitable to our geography. She knows the mechanisms of state and national agencies, and can put that knowledge to use for the good of the Sierra Nevada foothills, where her roots are.

Heather has spent more than a decade putting her energies and know-how to use for our benefit, both in advocacy and grant writing. She now proposes to push even harder for us in District 3 and for the whole county in pursuit of a better living and working environment for all. Please join me in voting for Heather Bernikoff.
