May 7, 2018 - The Butterfly Festival was and opportunity to prove that Jerry Cox is "putting the community first!" He had many various types of community supporters who volunteered on his float including Vietnam veterans, disabled and handicap people, small children passing out candy, a circus clown making balloon animals, fully costumed butterfly and a full size life Minion character that the children adored. His campaign clearly "spotlights" towards investing in the community, not the government!
"Our local government is too "top heavy" and it's restricting growth and economic diversity within our community" he has been quoted saying. He has a real plan unlike his opponents that just favor the "bird brain" tactics of raising taxes, enforcing more county codes, and increasing fines to generate income. Jerry Cox is the man our community needs for CHANGE!
