I would like to encourage each Mariposa County citizen that has not served in the U.S. military to take the time and see the following movies: "Lone Survivor," "Unbroken" and American Sniper. These three movies are true stories of what military veterans have gone and continue to go through to maintain our freedom. If you see them I guarantee you will be more appreciative of their sacrifices. If U.S. citizens were to give back just a fraction of what they have taken from our country then what a beautiful America we could be again. Remember that absolutely nothing is free. It had to cost someone something. Even your freedom cost someone their life. So be a true American and give something back such as volunteering, helping someone in need, etc. I promise you will be rewarded more than you give.
