On Thursday, June 1, 2017 the MCHS Grizzly Band and Color Guard and the MCUSD intermediate and advanced level bands performed an outstanding spring concert at the MCHS auditorium. Mariposa High School band conductor Gail Vanderslik led the band in a number of pieces. Then MCUSD intermediate and advanced band conductor Rod Fiester led students from El Portal, MES, and Woodland in a number of pieces. For the finale (pictured above), all band members came to stage to perform the piece, "Legends." It was a captivating evening.
