CFlogoSeptember 23rd CoyoteFest Just Two Months Away!

Now is the time to sign up for the parade, car show or a booth!   The Car Show entry fee remains at just $25 through Tuesday, August 1st, 2017.  Early bird registered cars also get dash plaques and a “Goody Bag” and any car entered into the show is “comped” into the parade for those interested, just note it on the application.  For those entering the parade using other means of transportation… feet, hoofs, tractor, or other vehicle, registration is just $10.  Forms for both of these events, as well as vendor applications, can be downloaded on the CoyoteFest.org website, or you can fill it out there and even pay online!  For those who still resist technology, just call the museum, 209-878-3015, leave your contact info and the type of application you want, and one will be mailed to you!  Or, stop by Sierra Flowers at their new location, 5014 Main St. and pick one up there!

Our vendor list has more than doubled.  For the kids, in addition to our Kid’s Korner, there will be: Pony Express pony rides, Zippy Rides, Krinklies Face Painting and Balloon Critters, and Jim’ Bounce House.  Lot’s of great food including: JD 's. BBQ, MacDoogles Kettle Corn, Chuchita's Authentic Taco's as well as Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chili Cheese Fries, Nachos, Popcorn, Slushies, Cotton Candy, Water & Sodas all from as Genesis Entertainment.   Merchandise and Craft Vendors include: Jan Deshera’s loom demonstration along with her Hand Spun Woven Crafts; Raymond Morey’s ‘28 Chevy pickup & “Crack’n Corn” demonstration; Mike’s Horseshoe Art; Chap & Leather Goods by Debra Mason; Rustic Barb Wire Creations by Doreen; Mountain Mama's Artisan Breads & Critters; Barbara Plemon’s Fairy Gardens & Succulents; A Mothers Quest by Sandy Lee; Harvest & Hearth by Terry & Amy Hicks; Stitched with Love by Tammy Lewis; Jewelry by Elise Lane; Lee Beldon’s Born Again Pallet Wood Crafts; Hand Painted Art Glass & Images by Brenda Gorsuch;  Caroline Fruth’s Pathos Screen Printing, Raven's Rose Candles & Craft by Patricia Boyer; Krystal Parker’s Damsel In Defense; Handmade Crafts by Melissa Johnson and Brent Jerner’s Renewable Solar Energy booth.  And more applications are arriving daily!

A big thank you to Allied Auto in Fremont Ca for once again taking on the major CoyoteFest Sponsorship as well as the Car Show Sponsorship.  This year, in addition to Allied Auto as our Major Car Show Sponsor, there is a new category of sponsorship.  There will be 10 “Plaque Sponsors.”  All 10 sponsors will have the opportunity to pick the car of their choosing to award their plaque to and each sponsor will also receive an identical plaque with a photo of the car they selected. Great Fun for the Entire Family!

Remember the parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. sharp, People’s Choice judging is from 11:00 a.m. ‘till 2: p.m., and the Coyote Howl Contests, live music, food & merchandise booths and other entertainment goes from 10:00 a.m. ‘till 4:00 p.m. in the Coulterville Park.  Coyote Howl Signups are on site the day of the event, you can sign up for the Horseshoe contest that day or in advance by calling 209-742-6653.  So mark your calendars for a jam-packed zowee kind of day!

Remember all you Facebook Fans to “like” the CoyoteFest page so you get the latest and greatest!  For anyone looking to get community service credits or who just want to help their community, we need some “worker bees” the day prior to and the day of the event… parking cars, helping organize vendors, etc.  Please call 209-878-3015 and leave your contact info and someone will contact you!
