Music on the Green, brought to you by the Mariposa County Arts Council and its many fine sponsors, continues into the 2017 season of great music. Friday, June 30 features Green Machine, and though the Art Park stage goes dark on Saturday, July 1, a light shines on at the Mariposa County Amphitheatre (ticketed concert), featuring Mariposa Symphony Orchestra’s annual Independence Day Spectacular! Concert.

Green Machine has become a staple of Mariposa Evenings, bringing authentic and original reggae music and attitude to the Art Park stage for 14-years. Recognized throughout California as the real deal, they are veterans of festivals and concert stages from the central valley, to the foothills, and to the coast, providing a feast for the eyes with their light show, and for the ears with their trance-like reggae jam sound. This year the group will be showcasing new material from their most recent recorded release, as well as the popular genre originals that their fervent fans have come to know and love.
