Nathan Lubeck was not with the group. He had left Joshua, Jonathon and Meghan at some point to scout the area ahead on foot in hopes to find a way out.

The group left their camp at Yosemite Lakes RV Park at 2:30 PM on Saturday, July 8th and decided to go down the river on inner tubes from their camp to Rainbow Pools where they would meet family at 4:30 PM. The Sheriff's Office was called at 7:30 PM when the four and their dog did not arrive.
Nathan was last seen wearing shorts, sandals, a hat and glasses.

The search area is very treacherous with steep and rugged terrain. Fire crews cleared foliage and roadways so the use of ATV's could be implemented in the search efforts. Tomorrow additional agencies will be arriving to assist Forest Service Law Enforcement and the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team. CHP Helicopter 24 out of Auburn will also be joining the search.
