July 25, 2017 - Detwiler Fire - Local Assistance Center Extends Additional Day
Local Assistance Center opens again tomorrow Wednesday, July 26 (7/26) 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Mariposa County High School 5074 Old Hwy N, Mariposa.
This is for ANYONE impacted by the Detwiler Fire. Local, State and Federal agencies will be available as well as childcare.
Local Assistance Center will be scheduled within the week for North County, once evacuation status, road closures, and fire status permits.
This is a multi-agency support center to provide assistance to residents affected by the Detwiler fire. We will help you connect with the following services and resources, including, but not limited to: ° Food Assistance ° Disaster Recovery Support ° Non-Profit Agencies ° Public Health / Environmental Health ° Counseling Services ° Human Service Programs ° Social Security Administration ° Agricultural Commission ° Replacing DMV documents ° Employment Development Department (EDD) ° State Contractor’s Licensing Board ° Other County Departments and State Programs.
Due to space constraints, donated goods will not be located on-site, and cannot be accepted. Childcare will be available and transportation can be arranged for those with special need.
