It’s Hot Outside!  Don’t turn your stove on Sunday morning, August 13th!  Instead, stroll, glide or wander on over to the Coulterville Schoolhouse and enjoy the NMCHC Community Breakfast.  Breakfast is served by our great group of volunteers from 8:00 A.M.‘till 11:00 A.M.  It includes eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, all-you-can-eat pancakes and a choice of ham or sausage… and still costs just $5.  A family package (2 adults/2 children costs just $15.  Whether this is the first time you’ve visited the Coulterville Community breakfast or you’re a “regular”, be sure and come on by… everyone is welcome!

NMCHC BkfstNorthern Mariposa County History Center Breakfast

This monthly breakfast continues to be an important fund-raising activity for the Northern Mariposa County History Center.  It helps keep the doors of this private, volunteer run, nonprofit museum open 4 days a week, Thursdays through Sundays from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., for 11 months of the year, February through December.  Thank you to the many generous donors who contribute such great items to be raffled off every month! In fact, if any of you have something tucked away in a closet, perhaps a gift that didn’t fit in your home or something you’ve won but cannot use, “re-gift” it to the NMCHC for their monthly raffle.  And, if you would like to do something proactive for your community, a few more volunteers would be most appreciated to help out serving and/or clearing.  Just call (209) 878-3015 and leave your name and number.

Facebook fans, have you “liked the Northern Mariposa County History Center page?  Reminders about our various events as well as other historic items of interest are posted there regularly but you have to “like” and “follow” the page to receive them!
