September 11, 2017 - Beginning Wednesday, September 20, 2017, the Oakhurst Branch Library will be offering a basic computer skills class scheduled from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. weekly through Wednesday, October 25, at the library located at 49044 Civic Circle Drive in Oakhurst.
The class will be taught by Jill Flanagan, a newcomer to the area, who has worked for 40 years in professional office environments.
According to Rushing, some of those “basics” include how to turn on a computer, set up an email account, create a password and user name and search the Internet. Space in the class is limited to six, so people need to sign up at the library before the class begins, Rushing said.
Flanagan, who is semi-retired, hails from Southern California where she was born and lived and worked most of her life. She recently followed family to the area where she now lives in Coarsegold.
This free class is sponsored by the Friends of the Oakhurst Branch Library. For more information, call (559) 683-4838 or visit oakhurstfobl.com.
