September 11, 2017 -  The Mariposa 4-H Youth Development Program will have a 4-H enrollment day on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the 4-H office.  October 1 will begin the new 2017-2018 4-H program year and 4-H sign-ups will take place this day from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon.  Youth ages 5-19 by December 31, 2017 can enroll, as well as adults who would like to share their talents with our local youth.  We are looking for mentors in areas of fishing, small engines, biking, Marine Biology, woodworking, hiking, and more.  Adults need to complete an interest survey, enroll, be fingerprinted, take online trainings, and be approved by the county director before having meetings with youth.
