In this 3-part workshop, attendees will learn:
The effects of fire on native vegetation and soil, watch a video of the affected area and receive handouts on fire-safe landscaping. The vole invasion that has attacked gardens in our area with fervor. Feast your eyes on some spectacular vole damage in the Show-and-Tell segment.
See demonstrations of some easy methods of plant propagation to help you jump-start your fall planting.
Attendees will be invited to start a plant to take home.
