Celebrate Halloween in Coulterville on Saturday, October 28th at 6:00 P.M. Coulterville’s Main Street Merchants are once again organizing the annual “Trunk or Treat” event, where families enjoy an inexpensive evening of Halloween fun in a festive child-friendly atmosphere!
Children of ALL AGES can wear their costumes and “trick-or-treat” along Trunk-or-Treat Lane (aka Main Street). There’ll be free Haunted Hotel Tours at the Hotel Jeffery! There’ll be zombies, wicked pirates, ghouls and other foul creatures for those who dare to visit Coulterville’s Trunk or Treat Lane.
All participating vehicles are parked along “Trunk or Treat Lane” (aka Main Street). Additional displays are set up on the boardwalks and many of the merchants will be open and offering additional goodies and warm drinks. Flashlights are a good idea!
Residents, businesses and community groups are encouraged to join in the spooky fun by hosting a vehicle. Decorate yourself as well as your car, truck or motorcycle, fill up those trunks (or other containers for vehicles lacking trunks) with wrapped candy then show up and join the fun. There’s a $65 prize for the best decorated “trunk”!
For the comfort and safety of the children, no homemade treats are allowed and please keep decorations G/PG rated. Parking will be available on both sides of Main Street beginning at 4:00 P.M. Although the Main Street Merchants are sponsoring the T & T for the community, donations of all types including fall decorations such as corn stalks, gourds, etc., and most importantly, individually wrapped candy, will be happily accepted. This is also the drop-off point for those who cannot make the event but want to contribute decorations or candy. She also has a supply of costumes to “lend” for those who can’t find just the right one in their closet!

Coulterville VFW Jumping Jukebox Halloween Party
Also, beginning at 7:00 P.M., on the night of Saturday, October 28th, the VFW Jukebox Party will get up and rocking. All grown-up children, especially those in costume, are welcome! Come have some spooky fun with things that go bump in the night… mystery!, magic!, ghouls!, witches! and general creepiness! Boogie the night way!
If you think you might get hungry, bring your favorite Halloween Treat to share.
So ditch the kids after Trunk or Treat and come have some grownup fun at the V!
