Author, Vicki D. Thomas will present her first book in the Relics Series, The Long Dark Cloak. The story is about thirteen-year-old Ivan who searches for his older brother in a mystical forest. He encounters dangerous creatures and forces that hinder his progress to find his brother and to save the life of a revered Kingwood oak tree. When war is declared, Ivan becomes a reluctant hero, fighting to save the forest as well as his own life.  Will Ivan leave the forest alive?
