Letters sent to White House, Roger Stone, Felix Sater, Margaret Kunstler

November 16, 2017 - Washington—Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) on Wednesday sent four letters requesting information related to the Russia investigation. Additional requests are expected to be sent in the coming Dianne Feinsteinweeks.

  • Letter to White House requests documents related to Jared Kushner’s role in the firings of Jim Comey and Michael Flynn and other documents already requested but not provided.
  • Letter to Roger Stone asks him to appear before the committee for an interview and for communications related to hacked emails, communications with Russian hackers or WikiLeaks, and communications with the Trump campaign.
  • Letter to Felix Sater asks him to appear before the committee for an interview and for documents related to the possibility of a Trump Tower real estate deal in Moscow and efforts to get Donald Trump elected president. Sater is a Russian-born real estate developer based in New York who once pled guilty to racketeering in relation to a major stock fraud scheme with the Russian mafia. He is also a long-time business associate of Donald Trump.
  • Letter to Margaret Kunstler requests all communications with the Trump campaign as well as communications about emails hacked by Russia. Kunstler is the lawyer for WikiLeaks and identified to the Trump campaign as a contact for communications.
