Judy Eppler (R) accepts a $500 donation from Pat Perry, Soroptimist International of Mariposa (C).  Also present is Penny Sturm (L).  Judy and Penny are both volunteers at Manna House.  The funds will be used for shoe vouchers for those in need.

January 10, 2018 - Manna House, a non-profit organization that provides emergency food to all in need, is the most recent recipient of a $500 donation from Soroptimist International of Mariposa.  Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.  In addition to participating in international projects, the Mariposa Club achieves this mission locally by giving scholarships to graduating seniors, presenting monetary awards to women that are the heads of their households seeking further education, and donating funds and services to organizations, including Mountain Crisis, Ethos and the John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation.
