Students at Sierra Foothill Charter School who are seen by staff performing random acts of kindness, being extremely respectful, showing responsible behavior, or otherwise exemplifying qualities of the school wide Character Counts! campaign are given a ticket to enter into a random drawing for Student of the Month. The recipient for September is sixth grade student Trevor McClard. Trevor showed admirable judgment by reporting an unsafe basketball backstop to the school principal. The staff thanks Trevor for helping to prevent dangerous accidents on campus. His teacher says Trevor is a very bright, thoughtful, and dedicated student in class. His favorite subject is math.
