Mariposa County High School 100 Year Homecoming Celebration starts-off with a MCHS Football Game on Friday, October 24, 2014. Arrive by 4 p.m.

Join alumni in the largest MCHS homecoming ever! Walk in the parade of decades at 6 p.m. with your class and be a part of the 100 Years of Grizzly Pride Alumni Photo!

Alumni are to gather at the fairgrounds between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. were they will be organized by decade and then by year using colored coded wristbands. The classes will meet and be organized behind the gold bowl (football stadium). The parade will begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. Each class will walk into the stadium and then on to the football field where a historic 100 year alumni/teacher photograph will be taken.  Classes are then invited to sit in a designated area by decade and cheer on the Grizzlies.  Class/decade competitions as well as MCHS trivia will occur throughout the game. Depending on fire conditions and approval from CDF and Cal. fire, a bonfire may happen after the game behind the football field in the dirt parking area.  

Then on Saturday, October 25 there will be a Mariposa County High School Memories Exhibition displayed from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.  Enjoy the MCHS campus with friends and family as you walk through exhibits highlighting the past 100 years. Coordinated times for alumni to meet with classes, family activities and food will be available.

The high school will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Displays will be in the two main hallways, the agricultural buildings and gymnasium. Pictures by decade will be taken on the stone bleachers at the front of the school.

Times for pictures are as follows:
1930's, 40's, and 50's at 9:30 a.m.
1960's at 10:15 a.m.
1970's at 11:00 a.m.
1980's at 11:5 a.m.
1990's at 12:30 p.m.
2000's at 1:15 p.m.

Later that evening will be the Grizzly Pride Dinner & Dance from 5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.  Celebrate with alumni as we count down the decades with music provided by The Sound Man and enjoy a traditional Mariposa meal provided by FFA.  Dinner & Dance will be in the Sequoia building at the Mariposa county fairgrounds from 5 p.m. until midnight.  There will be Tri-tip and chicken for dinner as well as wine, beer, margaritas, soda and water available for sale at the event. Must be 21 to attend.  

You'll have fun counting down the decades with decade appropriate music provided by the Soundman.  Tickets are $35 pre-sale and $40 at the door.
