February 10, 2018 - The National Weather Service Hanford office reports a weak Mono Wind event, mostly above 4000 feet in Mariposa, Madera and Fresno counties is possible Saturday evening with the strongest winds occurring between 6:00 P.M. and midnight.

The wind gusts during this event will be around 35 mph, possibly as high as 45 mph is some locations due to funneling and terrain.

These winds will be strong enough to topple dead trees.
