May 14, 2018 - The Mariposa High School Interact Club, affiliated with Mariposa-Yosemite Rotary Club, invites everyone to the Pet Parade. Please join the community on Saturday, May 19th from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the High School. Follow the signs and the paw prints to the parade staging area. This parade is for everyone, young and old, just bring your pets. Starting at the high school and wrapping around the Courthouse, this parade is the perfect outing for you and your animal friend. Several booths will be set up at the high school, lunch to benefit the marching band, and more!
There is no cost to enter and prizes will be awarded in several different categories: biggest pet, smallest pet, best pet/owner look-alike, best costume, longest nose, the fluffiest cat, the prettiest chicken, you name it.
We only ask that animals weigh under 120 lbs. and that kids 8th grade and under are accompanied by an adult. You must complete a registration and liability release forms which you fill out before the parade starts.
