May 17, 2018 - Congratulations to Raegan Broomfield and Emily Metcalf our two 2018 4-H Council’s scholarship winners! 4-H Council President, MarLee Beaudoin honors both winners with a $500 check.
Raegan has been in 4-H for 13 years with the Triangle club. She has been involved in rockets, archery, jewelry, rabbits, Cloverbuds, Camp Tweety as a camper and Teen Counselor, on the Leadership Team, Hi 4-H, club president, on regional council, and County All-Star for the past two years. After graduating, she will be attending Merced JC studying horticulture and hopes to work at a zoo as an educator with elephants in the future.
Emily has been in 4-H for 12 years in the Don Pedro Rattlers. She is president of her club, and has been in rabbits, sewing, food & nutrition, shooting sports, welding, photography, swine, gardening, woodworking, and crafts during her 4-H career. She also has been a Camp Tweety camper and a Teen Counselor. Emily just completed the EMT course and is getting ready to take the National Registry exam. She plans to move to Chico and work at the hospital.
