June 19, 2018 - Pet toys don’t have to cost a lot of money to be fun. Make some simple, cost-free toys that will entertain your dog or cat for hours during a free Makerspace workshop at the Mariposa Library at 3:00 P.M. this Thursday, June 21. All ages are welcome, but children aged 8 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Makerspace programs will continue through the summer on the first and third Thursday of the month at 3:00 P.M. and the second and fourth Saturday at 10:00 A.M.
Activities for July are:
- Thursday, July 5—Make your own butter (and popcorn to put it on);
- Saturday, July 14—Learn to sew, make a dress to give to the Little Dresses for Africa Project
- Thursday, July 19—CD Animal Mobiles
- Saturday, July 28—Computer programming with Arduino kits
