July 5, 2018 - The next weekend of the free Summer Concert Series, Music on the Green - brought to you by The Mariposa Co. Arts Council and its many fine sponsors – at The Art Park in historic downtown Mariposa CA, features Meltwater Bridge on Friday, July 13 and Saltwater on Saturday, July 14.
Meltwater Bridge on Friday, July 13
Meltwater Bridge provides distinct rhythm and color to songwriter/leader, Gail Dreifus’ original neo-folk songs. Dreifus is a lifelong singer, songwriter, guitarist formerly based in El Portal, now Mariposa and has been a fixture of the burgeoning local music scene for many years now. She has performed at the Strawberry Music Festival, Millpond Music Festival and National Parks, including Yosemite, Zion and Grand Canyon. She also produces the annual Yosemite Songwriter Retreat that features workshops with renowned songwriters like Joe Craven, Peter Rowen, Terre Roche and Eliza Gilkyson. Saltwater on Saturday, July 14
All performances begin at 7:00 P.M. (unless otherwise noted) at the Mariposa County Art Park, located on Hwy. 140, between 4th and 5th Streets, in historic downtown Mariposa, CA. Free parking on 5th Street along the Creek Walkway to the Park, also providing handicapped access.
The shows are free to the public – tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated.
