Dems Plan Discussion Type Meeting for August 11th
August 7, 2018 - All local democrats and no party preference designation people may find the next Mariposa Democratic Club meeting very insightful. It is planned for Saturday, August 11, at 9:45 A.M. at Miner’s Roadhouse. Please arrive at 9:00 A.M. if you want to order breakfast for yourself.
Usually there is a monthly guest speaker. But because so much is happening in the political field, the leadership thought it would be a good idea to take a couple hours to let people discuss everything.
An individual topic won’t be decided before the meeting and ideas will be thrown out that morning to let everyone chime in.
There will also be updates about important races for the November election as well as a brief update about the annual Mariposa County Fair events. Announcements about guest speakers for future meetings will be shared.
This is a good opportunity for like-minded people to network, make new friends, share ideas, and perhaps even help to move the country forward. After the stress of the recent fire, getting out and being with people might be a really good idea.
