August 19, 2018 - Caltrans to begin repaving of 3.2 miles of Highway 140 in Mariposa County from Mariposa to Midpines beginning Monday, August 20, 2018 until October 2018.

The work in Mariposa County includes repairing and repaving the roadway, upgrading concrete dikes (structures used to hold back water) and increasing striping from 4 to 6 inches to increase visiblity and safety.

The work in Mariposa County will be done using one-way traffic control during the daytime hours. Motorists can expect delays up to 10 minutes.

Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
