November 21, 2014 - An unidentified man behind the wheel of a black SUV is on the run tonight – this, after leading deputies on a chase from North Fork to Fresno, which ended when he crashed into a power pole at Farris Avenue and Herndon late Friday afternoon.

Brandunn-aka-Brandon WilsonThis afternoon, Mountain Deputies received a tip that a man wanted on several felony warrants, was seen driving through North Fork in a black, or dark colored, SUV.

When deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description, near the Bass Fork Mini Mart off Road 200, the driver took off.

Whoever was behind the wheel of that vehicle led deputies on a pursuit heading west on Road 200, then turning south on CA-41. By the time the SUV reached Avenue 12, the California Highway Patrol notified.

The chase ended when the driver (still not identified) crashed into a pole on Farris Avenue, and fled from the SUV on foot.

Whoever he is, he was seen wearing an orange shirt, which was later found by Deputies and Fresno Police as they searched the area on foot.

Despite aerial support from CHP’s H-40, the suspect managed to escape.

While the Sheriff’s Office cannot confirm at this hour who the driver of the SUV was, the Sheriff Office received a tip this afternoon that a man who shares his time between North Fork and Fresno, was back in North Fork, driving a dark colored SUV.

That suspect is 30-year old Brandunn (aka Brandon) Wilson.

He is wanted on a felony no-bail warrant for vandalism and terrorist threats; a $15,000 felony warrant for grand theft; a $7,500 felony warrant for vandalism; and a $25,000 felony warrant for vandalism and Evading a Peace Officer.

Anyone who may have information about the driver who led authorities on a pursuit from North Fork to Fresno, OR information about Brandunn Wilson’s whereabouts, is urged to call the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at 559-675-7770, or CRIME STOPPERS at 498-STOP.
