The Mariposa County Arts Council is proud to present our annual Young Master’s Youth Exhibition this February at the Treetop Gallery. This special juried exhibition provides the youth of Mariposa with the opportunity to share their ideas, narratives, and inspirations with their community through their own pieces of original visual artwork and offers the community a chance to view the world through our youth’s perspective. This year’s theme “My Mariposa” invites young artists in our community to reflect on their hometown and create a piece of artwork that examines Mariposa County through their own feelings, experiences, and relationships. Work in the following media will be accepted: drawings, paintings, prints, mixed media, 3 dimensional work (wood, metal, cloth, jewelry, papier-mâché, and sculpture), and multimedia/digital work.

Youth living in Mariposa County between the ages of 5-18 are encouraged to submit work to the Mariposa County Arts Council for inclusion in the exhibition. Friday, January 23, 2015 is the final date for submission.
