February 27, 2015 - Rain will spread southward across Central California Friday afternoon and continue through Saturday night. Current forecast is around a tenth of an inch in the San Joaquin Valley with locally higher amounts possible. We are expecting from a quarter of an inch to one half of an inch in the southern Sierra Nevada foothills. Snow liquid equivalent in the Sierra Nevada will be from one half an inch to around an inch with a few locally higher amounts.
