Passover2014Passover, an eight-day festival which celebrates freedom from slavery in ancient Egypt, is one of the most important holidays in the Jewish religion.

This year it begins at sundown, Friday, April 3rd.  The Mother Lode Jewish Community (MLJC) will be holding their annual Passover Dinner and Seder on the second night, Saturday, April 4th at 5 p.m. at a location in Murphys.  Everyone is welcome.

Member cost is $20 per adult, $15 per child; non-members are $25 per adult, $20 per child; there is no charge for children under 6.  A prep party is being organized for earlier in the week.  You are welcome to bring your favorite Passover dish and beverage.

The Passover dinner is partially catered so that reservations and pre-payment are required.  The cost is $20 adult/$15 children for members and $25 adults/$20 children for non-members, no charge for those under 6.  Space is limited.  Please mail your check and contact information to: MLJC, PO Box 1142, Angels Camp, CA 95222.
