Senator Boxer, the Longest Currently Serving Member of the Committee, Was Never Briefed on the Book's Findings
April 20, 2015 - Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), a senior member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement today disputing a New York Times report that members of the Committee were briefed on the findings of a new anti-Hillary Clinton book:
"Today's New York Times reported that members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee were briefed on the latest anti-Hillary Clinton book. As the longest serving member of the Committee, I was never briefed on the book and I know of no other Democrats on the Committee who were briefed on it.
