Rodeo-RoyaltyThe Mariposa Friends of the Fair Foundation along with the Rodeo Royalty Committee announces that the 2015 Mariposa County Fair Rodeo Royalty Applications and Rules are now available for this year’s contest.

The contest offers three divisions and is open to young ladies ranging in ages from 6 to 21 that are from Mariposa, Madera, Merced and Tuolumne counties.

Our local Fair Rodeo Royalty represents young ladies who are not only passionate about Fair and Rodeo but they also embrace Mariposa’s Western Rural Lifestyle as well.  You may have seen some of the current Rodeo Royalty as they have been making public appearances just about every month at various community events.

The Rodeo Royalty Committee will be hosting an introduction meeting for contestants on Sunday, May 31, 2015 as well as workshops focusing on public speaking, poise and horsemanship that will be offered prior to the competition day The goals of these workshops are to provide information, guidance and an opportunity to practice in front of their peers.
