Come discover the many benefits of gardening with California native plants and how you can conserve water, time and extra expense by incorporating them into your landscape.

UCCE Master Gardener Coordinator Kris Randal will describe and give information on a variety of drought-tolerant native plants that grow best in our foothill community.  Learn how to garden with year-round color, while providing pollinators with continuous blooms and birds with berries and seeds.

During this continuous drought, California native plants are the most reasonable and sustainable choice.  This workshop will highlight all of the advantages of maintaining or restoring native plants to your landscape.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors Chambers.
