April 30, 2015 - On Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 7:38 P.M. a Coarsegold resident, 19, (name withheld pending family notification) riding a 1999 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling northbound on Highway 41 at an unknown high rate of speed and attempted a left turn onto Coyote Hollow Lane. 

Due to the speed of the motorcycle he was unable to maintain control and collided with an Oak tree. He was ejected off of the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

CHP is reporting this is preliminary information and the exact cause is under investigation.
