The annual meeting of the NMCHC took place in April.  Newly elected board members will be announced next month.  However, outgoing president Susan Bramson, who will be stepping down from the board as well as the presidency, wants to acknowledge and thank the other three outgoing board members for their service.  Leaving after 4 years of service is Marvita Seawell.  Marvita will still be around, however, as she is retaining the chairmanship of the Breakfast Committee. Also stepping down are Mark Becker and Rex Wahman, both leaving after serving 2-year terms.  Mark has been concentrating on new external signage and Rex has been the NMCHC web manager for the past two years.  All four of these individuals has been important for the ongoing efforts to maintain and strengthen the museum.

 

It will be "Hat's Off to Pam Henderson", recipient of this year's President's Award for all of the hard work and effort she has made over the years helping with the Gala’s, culminating with the wonderful “Hats Off to Coulterville” theme she conceived and organized this past February.
